Students had 30 seconds to memorize 10 items on a tray. Claire was our winner (pictured below). With an amazing photographic memory, she listed the following items in detail: purple spray bottle, yellow lemon, silver paper clip, pink, purple, and white sock, white fork, red cards, reddish ball, and orange gum.Pictured above is Aloni, Hope, and Ashton, with their ecosystem projects, while below is Jaycie and Nick. Well done!
Students celebrate St. Patrick's Day! This is just one of the ways in which we embraced the extreme cold of this past winter. Below is the hands-on science team of Aloni, Hope, and Tiffany. They displayed an atom model with a -1 charge. Good going girls! Next, reading with a partner is twice the fun and twice as Nice! Pictured above using the "reading phones" is Hailea with her partner Austin.
Here's Brennon, the most humble and dedicated volunteer you'll ever meet! He hauled to school multiple large bags of aluminum can tabs over several weeks to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House, (next to the Children's Milwaukee Hospital) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. What a guy! Our class worked as a team to raise funds & won a pizza party for collecting the most tab tops.
Congratulations Hope on being a 4th Grade Pumpkin Decorating Contest Winner!
